How to Update Single Name 24 April 2023 18:10 Updated This article includes instructions on how to amend your incorrectly declared single name In certain countries individuals will only be known as one name. A 'Single Name' means that you are known by one name only and do not have a combination of a Surname and Given name. To edit your current name please click here If you require to edit your previous name please click here Step 1 Log into your InterCheck account on our website and click continue application. On this page you can edit information such as your name, date of birth, address and contact details. Step 2 If your name has been amended by us, please ensure you check it is correct, agree to the Terms and Conditions and click confirm to resubmit your application. Step 2a If your name is still showing as a single name. Click edit next to your name and untick the single name box. Then fill out your given name, family name and middle name if applicable. Step 3a If you have incorrectly declared your previous name as a single name please click edit next to the previous name. Step 3b Untick the single name box. Then fill out your previous given name, family name and middle name if applicable. If you have incorrectly added a previous name please click the 'delete name' button to remove. Step 4 Once you have clicked continue you will return back to the review stage. Review your details to ensure all information is correct. Step 5 Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click confirm to resubmit your application to us. You will not need to resubmit your IDs unless you have received an email advising we need additional support documents.
