How to Update your 'Purpose of Check' Field 24 December 2024 05:41 Updated This article provides instructions on how to update your 'purpose of check' for your Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check Step 1 Login to your InterCheck account and click Continue Application If you cannot locate the continue application button. Click the History tab near the top to continue your application Step 2 Click the Edit button next to the relevant Purpose of Check field and update the required information. Once updated, click Continue. When providing the reason for your check, please note the following: Acronyms and abbreviations will not be accepted There is a 100-character limit for each of the fields Multiple check purposes will not be accepted For further information on how to complete the check purpose, please see here Step 3 Once you have updated the required information, you will return to the review stage. Review your details to ensure all information is correct. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Confirm to resubmit your application to InterCheck. You will not need to resubmit your IDs unless you have received an email requesting additional documents If you have clicked past the review stage and have directly gone to the online ID section.
