For a smooth onboarding experience, refer to this guide and the linked Certn Help articles. OverviewOur new background screening platform is built for the dynamic needs of organisations. The new screening platform is an all-in-one platform developed to enhance the client and applicant experience. Once your account is set up on the new platform, you will be provided access to your client portal. From your client portal, you’ll be able to configure your account settings, order and track cases, review your completed reports, and more. See below for instructions on how to navigate the client portal. Access your client portalWhen a new user is added to a client account, they will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to access their account. Follow the instructions in the welcome email to create a password and log in for the first time.You can find more information on how to access the Client Portal here. Manage your account settingsWithin your account on the new platform, you can customise your account to meet your background screening needs. From the new platform you can: Create and manage “groups” - Groups are a way to organise cases into teams, projects or departments within your organisation. Create and manage users - Add and manage user permissions-levels, access to “groups”, and more. Create and manage “packages” - Packages allow you to create customisable sets of background checks tailored to the unique needs of your organisation or department, streamlining the background check ordering process. Create and manage “apply links" - Apply links can be used to handle high volumes of applications efficiently, letting applicants complete background checks via a dedicated URL. Manage billing - Manage your billing setup, billing contacts, and invoices with flexible billing options. Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification. Manage your applicants and reportsWithin your account, you can initiate background checks on your applicants, track the progress of reports, manage “applicant profiles,” and more. See below for instructions on how to: Order checks - All checks can be ordered a-la-carte from your Client Portal homepage. View and track cases - A case is a collection of one or more checks ordered for an applicant. Learn how to manage your cases, review information, and track your decisions. Manage tasks - Tasks are notifications about cases you’ve ordered and actions you need to take in relation to those cases. View and track applicant profiles - Profiles are a central hub for viewing cases associated with a single applicant, enabling easier applicant management. Manage your check settings Use and manage “tags” - Tags allow you to sort and organise your cases by creating and applying tags to your cases as you order them. Manage employment verification templates - Employment verification templates allow you to configure the scope of your verifications on a case-by-case basis.
