Create 'Invited' Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Batch Checks

This article provides instructions on submitting a 'batch invite check'.  'Batch invite checks' allows you to send invites to multiple applicants. 

Step 1: From the business portal home page, click New check > Start a NCCHC > Batch Invite Check

Step 2: Next, you’ll need to select the:

• Check Type (standard, volunteer)
• If you select standard, you must select a Check Category (employment, licence, other/position of trust)
• Payment Method (prepay, passpay)
  • Prepay: The Business covers the cost, and pays on behalf of the applicant (by default, the applicant will not have access to the check results certificate)
  • Passpay: Applicant pays for the application (both your business and the applicant will have access to the check results certificate)
• Department (if departments have been set up)

Step 3: Download the sample Excel spreadsheet and fill in the relevant fields. 

You must provide:

• The applicant’s surname
• The applicant’s email address

You will have the option to provide:

• The applicant's given name
• The applicant’s phone number
• The applicant’s employee ID
• The relevant purchase order number
• The purpose for the Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (please see further details on what you’ll need to provide for the check purpose here)

Step 4: Upload your spreadsheet by clicking Browse > Upload.

The invites will be generated in an Applicant Details table below

Click Send Invitation to send your check “invites” to your applicants.
